It is 100% individual. I always recommend trying lots of different ones and buying the one that suits you best. It is a bit like showing your mother how fast you could run in your new shoes before buying them and taking them home. Choosing a salon stool with a saddle can offer an ergonomic advantage. Denmark is the only country in the world that uses salon stools with backrests. Most people only use the backrest to grip and move the stool between treatments.

Advantages of salon stools without wheels: Salon stools without wheels, often called a treatment stool, offer a different range of benefits. A treatment stool is the right choice for you if you provide longer treatments and want a stable base where you can focus solely on the client without unnecessary movement. Some salons choose treatment stools for the washing area, allowing you to sit steadily while, for example, giving the client a relaxing scalp massage. Shop treatment stools here

Disadvantages of hairdressing chairs without wheels: The only disadvantage is that they cannot be moved around. If you need mobility, a treatment stool is not the right choice for you. Hair-repellent covers

Do you have lots of clients in the salon? Hair everywhere? Buy a salon stool with a hair-repellent cover. It is a small cover that sits over all the wheels on your salon stool. It usually cannot be added afterwards, so buy a salon stool that comes with one. This could be this one, for example.
