Meet Christian Rostved
Christian Rostved has run his own salon in central Viborg for 18 years. Three years ago, he began planning something different: his own newly built premises on his home property. A place he had complete control over, from floor to ceiling. It took a year to complete, and now he has opened the doors.
It's important to me that my customers don't experience it as a home salon, as that can sometimes sound negative. This is a fully considered experience, first and foremost.
Christian makes a difference
For many hairdressers, moving their salon home is about finances and flexibility. For Christian, it was about something more tangible: starting with a blank sheet of paper and designing an experience for his customers from the ground up.
An acoustic ceiling that dampens the sound. Round LED lamps that provide even light without shadows. This is something he highlights as the first thing he noticed when he cut hair in the new space for the first time. No compromises.
Christian is proud of what he has created, and it's easy to see why when you look at his new salon. It's not a salon that has been moved into a home. It's a salon that was built at home.
