Camilla Frank swaps the fashion industry for Head Spa
Meet Camilla Frank
Camilla trained as a hairdresser through the four-year hairdressing program in Copenhagen and went on to train as a makeup artist at Nicci Welsh Make-up Academy, where she later worked as an assistant and instructor. Over the years, she has worked freelance with hair and makeup in the fashion, music and film industries, including editorials for Elle, Eurowoman, Euroman, Woman and Costume, as well as the Elle Style Awards and Danish Music Awards.
When she had her first child in 2016, and the family later grew with another child, a quiet longing for something else grew too: more calm and more time. Camilla moved back to her hometown and set up her very own studio in Hvidovre, just one door away from her home.

Camilla makes a difference
At the salon, Camilla sees only one client at a time. Every treatment starts with her and the client looking each other in the eye and talking, both about the day's treatment and everything else that fills a busy everyday life. Along the way, she serves refreshments so the client can settle comfortably into the chair.
With a special eye for calm and aesthetics, she designed a studio together with Henriette Schou where the senses take center stage. Head Spa is integrated as a natural part of the treatment: micro-mist technology with Japanese roots, finished with a waterfall effect that reaches three of the scalp's five most important pressure points. The furniture was supplied in collaboration with Just Add People, but it is Camilla's presence and vision that make the studio truly special.
At the salon, Camilla works with only a few carefully selected products: the international luxury brand Oribe and Danish brand Meishai, which you can also read about in our profile of Meishai founder Katja Rosasco.
