"Holger, I need a waste bin for my salon. Can you make one for me?" These words were the beginning of Vipp, when Marie Axelsen asked her husband, Holger Nielsen, to make a waste bin for her hair salon in 1939. As a certified metalsmith, Holger knew what a quality tool was, and with this in mind, he made a trash bin for his wife.
